In the evening, step into the world of J.R.R. Tolkien and C.S. Lewis with our signature "Evening with the Inklings" event. Enjoy lively discussion, a themed meal, and stories set in the very halls where these legendary writers once gathered. It's the perfect way to begin your journey into Oxford's rich literary heritage.

Day 2
Start your day with a full English breakfast in a medieval dining hall followed by a talk by Professor Giuseppe Pezzini, Associate Professor of Latin Language and Literature at the University of Oxford and author of Tolkien and the Mystery of Literary Creation.
Midday brings "Lewis Lunch," honoring the legacy of C.S. Lewis and Lewis Carroll, before stepping into the spiritual and architectural beauty of the University Church of St. Mary the Virgin. In the afternoon, trace the footsteps of Tolkien, Lewis, and their literary circle on the "Oxford and the Inklings Walking Tour."
The evening is unstructured, allowing you time to discover Oxford independently.
